Online DEA training: is self paced study right for you?
A practical way to decide whether online Domestic Energy Assessor training fits your schedule and learning style.
Online DEA training can suit people who need to study around work or caring commitments. The real question is whether you can give the practical parts enough attention, not simply whether the lessons are available on demand.
Before choosing a route, check what tutor support, practice and portfolio guidance are included. You will need to understand how an existing home is measured, how construction and building services are recorded, and why evidence matters when an EPC is prepared. Set aside regular study time and ask how practical assessment work is supported.
A taught course is one stage of the journey. Ask about the assessment and accreditation steps that follow before you commit. Energy Move can explain the current online DEA offer, recorded fee and what to expect from the learning route.
